Microsoft Office 2010

ITS’ staff are in the process of testing Microsoft Office 2010 this summer. The software will be installed on the seminar and public computers on the first floor in the FLITE building and in Business 104 this month. If all goes well, Office 2010 will be included on the Presidential Replacement Computers (PCR) when they are deployed later this year.  A campus wide rollout of Office 2010 is expected sometime during the fall semester.  ZENWorks will be used to deploy Office 2010 to faculty and staff computers.

Internet Explorer 9 and FireFox 4 Not Supported

Currently, Internet Explorer 9 and FireFox 4 Internet browsers are not supported at Ferris. We recommend that you do not update to the new version on your work or personally owned computer until it has been tested thoroughly by ITS to make sure it works with FerrisConnect, MyFSU, Banner, etc.
It may appear to work, but we cannot guarantee all features will work properly.
