When classroom equipment fails, the TAC is called to assess the situation. TAC staff work to get the equipment operational in order to minimize the impact on the classes held in the room. Sometimes a temporary solution must be put in place while the
college or department decides on a course of action.
The TAC Audio/Visual team has put together a document to assist with funding decisions related to replacing or upgrading classroom technology. The document is meant to be used as a conversation starter between the department responsible for the classroom and the Audio/Visual team.
The document has been posted on the Desktop and Classroom Technology Standards Committee web site and is available through the following link: A/V Equipment Document
