Technical Education & Outreach Certificate Program

FAQs

What is the TAC Technical Education & Outreach Certificate program?

Technical Education & Outreach has developed a series of workshops and online learning activities based on several technologies that, when used together, can improve workplace productivity. By taking all the workshops in the series, you will receive a custom certificate recognizing your participation.

Why should I participate in the certificate program?

Do it for your professional development! These workshops are specifically designed to teach you new skills that you can use at work right away. Not only will you be sharpening your skills, you'll also be contributing to the success of your department.

What if I can't make it to all the sessions?

You are still welcome to sign up for individual workshops, but those who sign up for all of the workshops in the certificate series will get first placement. Or, consider one of the online certificate tracks you can do at your own pace.

Where will the workshops be held?

The in-person workshops will be held in the FLITE building on the main campus. There will also be online, self-paced training video certificates available for those not able to attend the workshops. If you would like to schedule any of the workshops separately or via Adobe Connect, please contact the Technical Education & Outreach team at teo@ferris.edu
